DrLullaby is designed to teach evidence-based sleep solutions for children (4 months – 18 years) AND adults! The problems addressed in DrLullaby include: 1. Babies or children requiring parent involvement with sleep, 2. Tantrums or bedtime refusal in toddlers and young children, and 3. Mind racing and frustration with sleep in older children, teens and adults. Parents will use the app to learn to improve sleep in their children. Older children, teens and adults can use the app themselves.

After answering a few brief questions, DrLullaby will provide you with your personalized set of sleep lessons that are aimed to help with the age group and goal of learning you select. Lessons include Dr. Medalie’s teaching videos, reading materials and graphic “how-to’s”. Most families complete their lessons in 2-3 months but this depends on how often you try a new lesson. Increased sleep and reduced sleep distress about sleep are the most common outcomes seen with this program.

DrLullaby teaches parents how to optimize sleep in children. The app allows parents (or older children) to fill in sleep logs, access sleep averages, and learn evidence-based behavior change solutions to optimize sleep. Parents who are worried about the effects of sleep loss in their child or who are losing sleep because of their child’s sleep problem can learn what to change to address sleep problems.

DrLullaby was developed by Dr. Lisa Medalie. Dr. Medalie is one of less than 30 board-certified, formally-trained Pediatric Insomnia Specialists. She trained at Johns Hopkins and Harvard and currently works at University of Chicago. She has been featured on Dr. Oz, CNN, NPR and several other media sites as a sleep expert.

Customized, simple and motivating

This app helped us work through the routines and consistency of a good night’s sleep. Our always wonderful sleepy baby grew up to be a bedtime over thinker, insomniac and every night was another frustration. After a few weeks the app helped us guide our 6 year old to make modifications and put herself to sleep and stay asleep. A year later during the pandemic the strategies still work and the app helps us keep on course so we can all stay rested, happy and healthy. Thanks Dr. Lullaby!

Excellent App for Families!
