Drop is a delightful little color picker for developers and designers.
Pick a color and it will be copied in your preferred format. It's that easy.
> Zooming Picker
Picking a one pixel border? No worries! You can freely zoom the picker in and out with your scroll wheel or trackpad.
Most color pickers (including Apple's) don't pick the exact color value because of reasons that we have to understand but you don't. Drop lets you pick the exact color by switching the color profile associated with the app you are picking from.
> Dark Mode
For all those fans of the dark side, we got you covered.
> Dock, Menu Bar, or Both
Some like their apps running in their dock, some like to run them in their menu bar. We got both covered. Right click the menu bar icon anytime to bring up the app.
> Touch Bar
That's right, get quick access to all your colors right from your fancy new Touch Bar. It's the most convenient way to have quick access to your colors. Ever.
> Just the formats you use
Quickly switch between the common formats you are actually going to need your colors copied into: HEX, RGB, Swift UIColor, Swift NSColor, Objective-C UIColor, and Objective-C NSColor.
Save colors for later in your color palette.
This app was built with more TLC than you can even imagine. It's those little details that make all the difference.
-NEW FEATURE: Added support for lower or uppercase HEX code
-Removed CMD+A bringing up the ‘About’ screen
-Fixed a bug that was causing the app to crash when using the Grayscale slider

A competent picker with some frustrating fallbacks.
Drop has a very pretty UI and a wealth of information. Having UIColor values is occasionally useful.
Unfortuantely, it's not Spaces-aware, and cannot detect colors on another screen. Also, in some cases, it doesn't seem to adjust for display or color profile variance — I've had intermittent color issues, but nothing serious.
On the other hand, if you're looking to match colors for your programming project, it's a solid — pick.
Great App, please fix tabbing
I really like this app, but for some reason, tabbing through the RGB fields has stopped working. If I enter in a value for R, then hit tab, I would expect the app to select the G field and then hitting tab again would select the B field so I can quicly enter in an RGB value and get the corresponding hex value above. Right now I have to use my mouse to change fields which slows things way down. Please fix this if you can. Thanks!

Hey! I will look into this issue and see if I can replicate it across different macOS versions. Really appreciate your support!
Does not work
This app does nor work on my 2018 MacBook Pro with dual screen displays ( built in 2880x1800 & external LG Ultrafine 5120x2880 ), although max resolution is not used. The displays are driven by a Radeon Pro Vega 20 display card. Color capture magnifying curson does not track the displayed screen at all, making screen selections very, very difficult at best.
Developer Response ,
Hey, sorry about that! Have not heard of this bug as of yet, but will research more into this to see what is going on with dual displays. Thanks a bunch for your support!
