Drop is a delightful little color picker for developers and designers.
Pick a color and it will be copied in your preferred format. It's that easy.
> Zooming Picker
Picking a one pixel border? No worries! You can freely zoom the picker in and out with your scroll wheel or trackpad.
Most color pickers (including Apple's) don't pick the exact color value because of reasons that we have to understand but you don't. Drop lets you pick the exact color by switching the color profile associated with the app you are picking from.
> Dark Mode
For all those fans of the dark side, we got you covered.
> Touch Bar
That's right, get quick access to all your colors right from your fancy new Touch Bar. It's the most convenient way to have quick access to your colors. Ever.
> Just the formats you use
Quickly switch between the common formats you are actually going to need your colors copied into: HEX, RGB, Swift UIColor, Swift NSColor, Objective-C UIColor, and Objective-C NSColor.
Save colors for later in your color palette.
This app was built with more TLC than you can even imagine. It's those little details that make all the difference.
-Fixed color picker freezing when pressing ESC
-Supporting even more previous versions of macOS (up to OS X El Capitan - 10.11)

The most important part is broken for me
I like the UI of this little app and it worked well for a while. The problem is that now the loupe that is used for the color picking is not in-sync with where my cursor actually is. So if I drag my cursor all the way to the top right hand corner of the screen the color it is trying to pick is like 200 pixels off.
Developer Response ,
Hey! Apologies you’re having this issue. The loupe currently does not pick into the macOS top menu bar, so it may seem like it’s 200px off up in the top corner. If you scroll back into the main area, the loupe should correct itself. Thanks so much for your support!
Lots of bugs
Main app screen looks great. Supports hex and rgb copy for web, which is great.
Not pictured is the screenshots is the color palette. This is the standard MacOS color palette widget. Nothing special, but it works.
Using the eye dropper in the app's title bar doesn't work.
Using the eye dropping in the MacOS menu bar makes the mouse cursor disappear.
Command , will open a NEW preferences window every time you press it.
Command A has been hijacked to open the About page instead of doing the usual select all, which is mildly annoying.
No support. Well, maybe on twitter, but I don't use twitter.
Developer Response ,
Hey! Want to first say thank you so much for your support. Apologies on the some of the bugs you are currently experiencing.
-Drop should work in any app’s title bar, but can look into it in more detail.
-Being able to pick a color in macOS menu bar is currently on the to-do.
-Not being able to open as many new Preferences windows as you want is on the to-do.
-Looking at removing CMD+A altogether so it works properly in input fields.
Again, thank you so much for using Drop and really hope these bugs don’t take away from it being a useful color picker for your workflow. Currently trying to get a new build out as the review team is being more strict on color pickers in macOS Catalina.
This app is simply amaazing
