Description

For more than 30 years, Frank Shann’s little booklet has helped physicians all around the world prescribe drugs to children. DrugDoses now contains more than 2150 entries. It lists every drug commonly prescribed for systemic use in both adults and children.

The iOS version of the booklet gives you an enormous amount of information, which will be updated yearly! You will therefore always have the latest drugs, which will only be available in the paper version in another year or two.

The iOS version has also lots of other features: more than 150 current laboratory values and a useful cardiology database.

DrugDoses also integrates PedCalc. It contains the most common pediatric scores and formulas:
- ASA score
- Alveolo-arterial gradient
- Anion gap
- Apgar score
- Blunt abdominal trauma score
- Body mass index
- Body surface area
- Corrected Ca
- Creatinine clearance - measured
- Creatinine clearance - estimated
- Endotracheal tube sizes
- FeNa
- Glasgow Coma Score
- Glasgow Outcome Scale
- Ideal Body Weight
- Maintenance fluids
- Mallampati
- NACA score
- Neonatal central lines
- Oxygen index
- PaO2/FiO2 ratio
- Parkland formula
- Pediatric trauma score
- Predicted height

Frank shann's drug dosing

This is the reference that is used widely in australia. Gives both doses for pediatrics and adults, plus US drug names (acetaminophen), but it mainly deals with pediatric dosing, a must have for clinicians dealing with pediatric population. I was just blown away with so much useful information for such little cost. Highly recommended for pharmacists, pediatricians, general medicines.

Can’t restore my purchase !!

I bought the lifetime license before , and now the app keeps telling me that my license will expire in less than a month!!
Otherwise this is a good app.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your feedback. We're happy you enjoy the app, but we're really sorry for the issue with the license. As we have now removed the need for a lifetime license, you should be able to enjoy your app.
Thanks again!
Oliver

Brutane man ,

Format is terrible

Info appears to be reliable.
The multiple drug doses are all crunched together in a paragraph form w/o spacing.
This makes it much more to read than when using an outline form.
Was the writer too lazy to put it in outline form?

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your feedback; we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. The text format you mentioned is intentionally designed to match the booklet written by Prof. Frank Shann, as this is the format thousands of physicians around the world are familiar with and expect. We understand that it might seem different from an outline form, but consistency with Prof. Shann’s original layout is important to ensure that this resource remains immediately recognizable and usable for those who rely on it daily. We value your input and will consider it as we strive to improve our resources. Thank you again for your support.
