Dual Match 3 is a match 3 puzzle game in which players try to get a high score by connecting 3 or more balls of the same color and number.
When 3 or more balls of the same color and number are connected, the points on the balls are multiplied by 10.
Players can boost their score by connecting multiple combos, in which case the combo points are multiplied by the number of combos hit so far (e.g. on the third combo, the points are multiplied by 3).
The player can connect balls freely: vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
Although the rules are simple—just connect 3 or more balls of the same color and number—Dual Match 3 is unique in that scores vary greatly depending on the connection path.
In Hard Mode, cubes containing the total number of points from connected balls appear in the position where the finger is removed.
When 3 or more cubes of the same color are connected, you win the points and the cubes are removed.
The level finishes when all color targets are cleared within the given number of moves.
When you level up, bonus points are added based on the number of remaining moves, so you can boost your score by completing the level in fewer moves.
At the end of the game, players receive coins according to the number of levels completed. These coins can be exchanged for items during the game.
There are three items:
Item 1: Tap a ball to remove it
Item 2: Add two moves
Item 3: Display a hint (reveals a high-scoring path)
You can use items multiple times during a game, but the number of coins consumed doubles with each use.
In Time Mode, you have to get the high score within 60 seconds.
When you hit the score target in 60 seconds, the level finishes and the time limit is reset to 60 seconds.
Get combos to extend the time limit based on the number of combos you make.
1 combo adds 1 second, 2 combos add 3 seconds, 3 combos add 10 seconds, 4 combos add 30 seconds, and 5 combos add 60 seconds.
However, the time limit never exceeds 60 seconds.
You can share in-game videos via SNS by pressing the record button during the game.
You can also post your game results or best move to SNS.
When you select a ball, it becomes hidden behind your finger, so the game uses haptic feedback to tell you when a ball is selected.
People who cannot see differences in color can play using patterns with the “Colorblind” option.
There are three different color themes:
1. White
2. Dark blue
3. Gray

Challenging and highly addictive!
Wish there were tips somewhere to bone up on this sucker ‘cause it’s a habit now. Starts off simple enough but before you know it your playing three-dimensional chess and you didn’t think you could
Addictive, but quirky
I keep finding myself playing this over other games. The game is fun and challenging since the combos of chaining the same number is really the only way to get past higher levels. You could chain 10 reds together but if there are no combos your score will be tiny. So unlike most match 3 games, this game is all about quality not quantity. Of course there is a lot of luck involved too which can be frustrating.
I’ve only played the free version but a playing it enough that I will likely pay to remove ads.
I have noticed that it does seem to drain the battery more quickly than similar games. Not sure why that would be since the game doesn’t really seem too graphically intensive.
My main tips are:
1.) Chain the same numbers together to get 10x the score. For example, chaining 1-2-1-1 is worth only 5 points while 1-1-1-2 is worth 32 points...huge difference.
2.) Watch the ads to earn coins and save them up for the power ups like +2 moves and removal. Just keep in mind to use them carefully as the cost doubles after each use (within that game).
Still ads after paying
I get pop-up ads between games even after paying to remove ads. And despite what the developer says, there is no “restore purchases” option anywhere in settings. Tried deleting and reinstalling, nope. Still can’t restore purchases. Too bad, because the game itself is clever and fun. But there’s no excuse for greed and bad programming like this. Buyer beware.
