Terrible ui, ugly ptw grind
There seems to be some thought through design, but its all behind microcurrency so you get a few things unless you pay up.
The weapons itself are dumb in the sense that you have to turn around to shoot forward and the weapons that can shoot behind you target randomly. Then if you survive long enough to max out a weapon, it shoots differently and mostly forward facing, which ruins the reasons you chose it on the first place.
Then theres the dumb monster rush alerts that block a third of the screen while you're trying to avoid said monster hoarde...what idiot thinks of doing that unless they want you to die and watch one of many dumb ads?!?!?
