What’s up with the bluetooth???

Yes. I am having the same problem where I can’t connect my lights. I was very excited after spending $50 to hook these up to my smart phone. The device doesn’t show on my phone so I can’t connect them. Everyone says unplug them and turn off your bluetooth and then retry but no matter what there is no device showing. It is really frustrating not being able to find out how to get it to work and the best answers I’m finding are from the costumers themselves rather then the actual makers off the product. App is very under-developed and I would like an update so I can actually connect the lights. Not much in the help page either. Please consider changing the app so it is compatible with everyones lights. Very disappointed that I couldn’t even figure out how to connect or why they wouldn’t. Lights are good for the price. App was disappointing.

Bluetooth solution

I feel all your pain! Took me two hours to finally get results over the Bluetooth.
iPhone 8. In settings, scroll down to where you see duoCo strip app listed. Click on it. This is where the phone allows the app to access your Bluetooth. If it is off, turn it on. If it is on, turn it off then back on. That’s the ticket. If it is on, turn it off, then back on. Return to the app and look under the Group Manage my device tab, your device ELK-RIpDomANew1 (?) should be listed. If not listed under my device then it’s not connected correctly.
Must be listed to work. Try again. Then click on the light bulb to turn it green and then click on the chain link so it is not broken.
Yes, a chain link must be showing linked.
It’s like a Chinese puzzle!
So, step by step…
Plug in Bluetooth device and lights.
Open settings and turn Bluetooth on by selecting your ELK- whatever. Wait for it to be connected.
Open app. Go to Group Manage page and look under my device. Nothing is listed as you all know.
Open settings, scroll down to duoCo strip and turn on or on off Bluetooth
Return to app and look under my device…
Should be listed
Click bulb green
Click chain link to be linked , not broken.
Tada!

not that good

So, i received this as a gift and was really happy but then when my dad used the remote, it worked fine, then i went back to the app and it wasn’t working. Frustrated i threw it down and the the leds started flashing because of the microphone feature it took about 30 minutes for the leds to stop. The songs don’t even work. Also, if u have a roku tv don’t get these leds because the tv remote connects to the leds and it’s very annoying when i’m trying to watch tv. But, If i didn’t have a tv, and i didn’t have a remote, and it didn’t have the microphone feature or the songs, then it would work just fine and i use them when i’m going to sleep, but yeah, i suggest get yourself different Leds because these are really bad.
