Displays sunrise and sunset times. Displays astronomical, nautical, civil and official times. By default the current date and location will be used. However, sunrise and sunset can be determined for any date and location. The desired location is chosen from a map so you are not limited to a fixed list of locations but have the flexibility to choose any location.

The app is a useful tool for anybody who uses the nature and enjoy outdoor activities: Hikers, fishermen, hunters, photographers, etc. The benefit of this app compared to other sunrise and sunset apps is the flexibility when it comes to the selection of location.

works, but.....

works well for home location but gets difficult when trying to find solar related data for different locations. better know your UTC codes for different locations, none provided. you have to enter UTC manually. have a UTC chart ready.

No way to report an issue, page doesn’t exist

This is has actually been a 5 star app, but something is currently wrong with the current location display. It shows a zoomed out map, doesn’t show your location. That’s a recent problem. I wanted to report it but there is no way to do it through the app, the link takes you to a page does not exist, same with here when you try to contact the app developer through apps.

Help?! I use this app literally every day. Need it to work.

Will change to 5 star rating as soon as we can get this issue resolved AND add a way to contact developer (there should be a Help dropdown where you can report an issue). Thanks!!

Wonderful for day planning

There are lots of times it’s useful to know when the sun will rise, or when it’s light enough before dawn to not stumble around in the dark. This app tells you all the details. If you’re a photographer or videographer, this app helps you figure the best times to shoot, including “silver” and “golden” hours just after dawn and before evening twilight begins.
