I love the E! news app! It was one of the first apps I downloaded on to my phone when I bought my first iPhone years & years ago! Over the years you have had some good updates and not so good updates but since you had this format it’s been awesome! It’s easy to navigate and you really do have the best stories and are where I go to to find the newest trends in clothes, jewelry etc! One of the other best things about E! Is all of your hosts! I love that you take people that may not have even thought of having a show on E! but you have a vision for them and 9 out of 10 times you are spot on an nailed it! I’m obsessed with Morgan Stewart, she’s so amazing! I did watch her show Rich kids of Beverly Hills and I’m so happy she moved on to bigger and better things because you really get to see how absolutely funny and sweet she is! E! News Daily Pop has another great group too! Love Carissa Culiner and Justin Sylvester with Morgan Stewart! Such a great threesome😉 to listen too! I do miss some of the OG’s like Giuliana Rancic, Catt Sadler and Jason Kennedy but it’s still fun that you do keep up with them on some of the shows. Oh and I can’t forget about award shows and movie premieres, E! News has always has had the BEST COVERAGE!! It doesn’t matter where I might read a story about some star whether they are a movie star, pop star, rock star, model, comedian whatever if I don’t think it’s a real story I will alway go check E! b/c you somehow always have the REAL STORY and it’s the true story not just a version of the story!!!

It appears that every time this app gets an update it achieves only in being seemingly more frustrating to use. Even before the redesigned interface, it was at most, tolerable with similar issues. At least before users could have an organized 'Favorites' list & search for articles. Though the layout was a nice gesture in comparison to the old one, this update just set the purpose of reading articles & watching videos (the MAIN objective use) to be ostensibly impossible. Videos don't load & just fade back to the main news feed with only audio playing, selecting articles result in wrong ones appearing & in many instances only 1 article will come up even if selecting various different ones. Articles supposively having related 'Slideshows/Pictures' don't appear & never have. Barely anything new comes up on the "Refreshed" main feed & same things stay on the feed for days. In a commendable attempt to organize, the app has succeeded only in the unnecessary over categorization of photos, as well as the usual & still yet to be resolved issue of constant jamming/crashing.

I have been watching E for years it was bad enough when G left but KAT !!! You let her walk away and now your network is failing!!! Ryan Kennedy love you and the person you are but you need a decent cohost !!! The E after show for the Grammys was awful I will tell you the only person that saved that was the blonde from the reality show with the gorgeous sequence suit on!!! Why not put her in with Ryan at this point it can’t get any worse !! Thank God Ryan was on the Red carpet but after that it was ........NOTHING !!!! It looks like you pulled random names out of a hat and said ok today is your day you can be on tv now!!! I used to watch it everyday now!!! I never watch it I miss my E and G and KAT!!! Oh one more thing where oh where is ROSS , what did you get rid of him to?? He made it entertaining!!!! What is wrong with you people but you need to act fast!!!! Your ratings are at 2.1 quit shaking your head and wondering where did it go wrong , I have just explained it to you!!! Now fix this problem!!! #getKATback

I used to LOVE this app. Actually I loom at it first every day. I have for quite some time. I had to update the last version and it is FULL of pop up adds. Adds pop up ALL the time. Way past reasonable. Not only pop up ads but if you look thru photos every 4th is some type of add. Combine that with pop ups and you now have one annoying app. Too many to field. Sadly I'm really not looking at it as much as before, and I really liked this app. Please E, I understand adds. But find a balance between greed and happy customs. If you do make it past the unreasonable amount of adds, this app crashes ALL the time. Or freezes and then spits me back to my phones main page. So a freezing up app FULL of adds is basically the " new" version of this app. So so sad bc this used to be my favorite app. Clean Up All The Adds! Not fair to the people looking at it. Very disappointed.

Number One: The rampant grammar and spelling errors drive me insane. I'm one to forgive an error here or there, but this is too much. Every article has at least two typos or mistakes. And if E! can't afford an editor, at least use spell check! I don't want to make any assumptions about who is hired and how they are on-boarded, but it leaves something to be desired.Second: The stylistic choice or narratives (I'm not calling it journalism) are way too something. And I understand that the tone of the app is going for fun by using up-to-date use of pop culture terms to connect with the user, but honestly it's too much. What it needs is a bit more professionalism. All the articles sound like Giuliana Rancic clones wrote it.I didn't want to rant but the straw that broke the camel's back was seeing the headline "Relieve Emma Stones and Andrew Garfield's Cutest Moments". What? Like seriously, what? It's a headline! Why didn't someone say anything?! It's RELIVE.

This app has really gone down hill. It used to be all about celebrities and entertainment, and now all I see is left-leaning politics, adds everywhere, and way too many spelling and grammar errors. Apparently no one proofreads articles anymore. I don't come to this app to read about the bias political opinions of these reporters (I'm not really that into politics, I just find this to be really irritating). There are so many adds that I can't even read an article without them popping up and interrupting. & I constantly wonder why there are so many grammar and punctuation mistakes. I mean, I know this is entertainment news and it's not a huge deal, but writing is their job, so I just feel like it's not a lot to ask that they proofread. All in all, this app is still alright, and by "alright" I mean that I would give it a D as a grade.
