Today I tried using this app for the first time. Setup was easy, but I ran into an issue while trying to pay at the pump. The app kept throwing up a technical page about something not being able to load. I finally tried paying at the pump and realized that the pump was in some sort of diagnostic mode. If the app can’t connect to the pump, please suggest to the user to check the pump’s display.

New app doesn’t remember my previous reward credits

In the old BPme app I had 10 cents/gallon as a temporary credit due to a previous transaction not working smoothly, but I was forced to used this new earnify app which doesn’t recognize my previous BPme credit status.

Also what’s interesting is that all my saved credit cards synced over to this new app, however the credit card nicknames don’t come over. I had about 10 credit cards saved and now I have a hard time remembering which card is associated with which number. Fine I get it, not all data points integrate easily when migrating user data from one system to another, but at least provide us the ability to set up card nicknames all over again in this app. I don’t mind tracing it down but when you’re in a rush to get gas it’s annoying to remember which card is which if you want to maximize the quarterly reward benefits on some cards.

Sure, go ahead and “email them for support”. You won’t get a reply.

First time I used it, it seemed to work through all the steps, even thru payment via the app, but it didn’t give me a discount. It’s really not clear how you’re supposed to know if you got a discount or not. The pump price didn’t change and my credit card was charged in full.

Second time I used it, today, it said payment failed or something like that. Emailed them a week ago inquiring about the first purchase without the discount and haven’t heard a peep, not even an auto reply. And yes I checked my spam folder.

Emailed them again per the developer’s reply: again, nothing. It ain’t a fluke, they don’t reply to support emails.

So far so bad. Will update rating if I ever can get it to work. But I won’t spend much more effort on this.
