Earphone Alarm 4+

This is the only 3rd party app I have found that works the way I need it too - alarm sounding in my ear phones and not both the phone and ear phones. It is loud and does waken me without waking up anyone else.

However the snooze does not work, which I need. Also, the prompts are in a language I do not understand, but I can’t use this app without hitting “ok”. There are no directions. And if there are, they are in a language I do not understand. While it seems straightforward, I think this app does more than what I’m using it for.

Rated a 3 because it does work, but the language barrier with no snooze makes it difficult. even if a fix can be done on the language with no snooze this app would be a 5.

It has a pretty interface. The options are not very intuitive. It played the music from my Apple music app in testing mode, but did not play the music when the time to alarm arrived - that is, until I discovered from another review that you must click the “Start” after choosing the time. I have not been able to toggle off the vibrate on alarm. However, despite those issues it is the only app I have found to sound an alarm via Bluetooth.
By the way, to “Snooze”, when it alarms tap “stop”, then tap +1,+3,+5 or+10 from whichever set of 2 times you have previously selected (AND tap start again). More trouble than just a snooze button, which would be a preferred option.

Tested this several times during the day to make sure this would ONLY GO THROUGH MY HEADPHONES. The tests seemed to work. On the first night that I actually tried it, I had woken up early and was lying in bed, but still had headphones on. The alarm went off THROUGH THE PHONE’S SPEAKERS. I’m pretty sure my wife woke up and groggily asked what that noise was, otherwise I wouldn’t have known to shut it off. I think maybe my headphones might have ran out of power, but that’s besides the point. This app should have been designed with the question of “What happens if the user’s headphone battery dies?” already answered. I already have a backup alarm set, so I don’t need this one to go through the phone’s speakers. In fact, that should be an option that the user should be able to set. If this event had happened, and the alarm was just silent, I would have given this two, maybe three stars. This kind of thing should NEVER happen if you design/update the app well.
