Good, But Not Great

This is a beautifully created tool, and a great simulation for the classroom. It’s incredibly engaging (for teachers… incresing time-on-task, social learning, and motivation), could enhance learning on this topic by scoffolding the concepts and creating opportunities for higher-order thinking, and bridges the gap between real-world processes and the classroom. However, I was disappointed to learn that the sandbox mode is meerly a small square of earth to shift and change. For no good reason except my hopes, I thought the sandbox would allow the creation and sculpting of full planets. That’s my mistake, but I think one that many buyers might make. Maybe this will be a future feature?

Simply, be aware of the functionaloity before you buy it. Nevertheless, a solid educational simulation.

Amazing! My 4 yo loves it! Love the interactivity.

It is captivating enough to keep a 4 yo interested for long periods of time. We’ve finished the whole book in two days. Interactivity is fantastic. I wish we had this at school when I was a kid.

Good start...that's it?

Pleasing visual design w/interactive features make this a great tool to describe the forces that shape our planet. For a preK-4th grd audience. Looks like this could be the start of an educational series but I noticed that there havent been any updates or content added for some time...what happened? I agree w/another reviewers suggestion to expand the sandbox. Nice app but overpriced.
