Using intervals, run/walk, for your training and/or race has proven both effective and beneficial. However one intimidating hurdle to using intervals is understanding how to divide your running between running and walking in order to maintain an overall pace. This was the inspiration behind the Easy Interval Calculator.
The Easy Interval Calculator helps you determine what pace you need to maintain during your run and walk segments in order to achieve a target pace per mile.

The UI is easy to understand, but it would be better to just input the numbers instead of scrolling. There’s also no option to use seconds for each interval.
I really like the app. It does what I need it to do. I wish it allowed for interval lengths of at least up to 30 minutes though. A cap at 15 minutes is just too limiting for me.

It used to work great. Now every time I change the pace, it crashes out. It used to be my go-to. Needs some tweaking. (It WAS a 5 star when I first used it).
