Easy New File 12+

This Finder extension adds --the only-- Windows feature I ever missed: the ability to create a new file in place, in whichever directory was open. It saves time not having to navigate a potentially convoluted file system if you’re already in the folder where you want to save the file. In that regard, it effectively replaces the functionality of the long-gone ‘Click, there it is!’.

This extension has only a few options, which can be deduced by trial and error since there is essentially no documentation. If it had a few paragraphs of clear instructions, I’d have rated it 5 stars. It works well!

aha.You can add 'Custom template' for this by yourself.
Add any file if you want.

it’s a pity that such an app won’t really create new files as it claims to do: basically it can only create pure text files. for xlsx and other more delicate file formats, the files created by this app cannot be correctly opened and error messages will be evoked.
for me it’s a total waste of money as the claimed functions can be fully realised with other options:
1) open terminal: use go2shell (just google it);
2) pure text file: use automator.
