I downloaded free version thinking the application screenshots/copies, searches font style, then allows you to save the content(from your selection). Thats what I was hoping to find. I havent tried the paid version but it looks like thats not what this app is for. More for extracting text from a picture, which is still handy but not what I need at the moment. Any suggestions? Thank you
I already purchased picatext (a completing product) but I find myself using the free Easy Screen OCR instead, because it automatically figures out the language of the captured text. The UI could be improved (the captured screenshot should appear in a floating window in the foreground), but this is a an extremely handy and functional app.
Yeah, it is a bit weird that the application doesn't go to top after screenshotting or when clicking the preferences button, but it's free and it works (the OCR with Google is great btw), which for me, checks all the boxes
I like this app; it helps me out a lot. However, I have been using this app for maybe 3 years or longer; I recently subscribed to this app. It says I use my free limits, but I'm a subscriber and pay monthly. Whenever I try to restore the purchase, it says the subscription already expired. I'm like, how when the company takes the funds automatically, I don't know if it a glitch or an error or something, but I'm tired of uninstalling it and then reinstalling it,
Registering paid subscription is a mess-- keeps resetting. Default OCR engine is no good, have to manually switch to Google engine every restart. Clunky overall

I can't get it to do anything. Pull down the App's Icon (and select "Capture Sceenshot" or use the shortcut command) and the onlty screen you have the option of capturing is the your desktop picture. MacOS Big Sur Version 11.4
