Can’t choose/edit the number of frames. Creates huge files

First I tried importing a DV. It crashed.

Then it imported the video frames in reverse order (you can fix it, but you shouldn’t have to).

Lastly, there doesn’t seem to be a way to limit the number of frames, which is why I needed to make a GIF in the first place. My files ended up three times larger than the original video.

It might be fine for making video from static images, but as a video to GIF converter, it’s useless.
