Description

Easy Words is a fun and addictive word game to train your brain. Make words with letters to get as many points as you can! Take a break and show off your logic skills while competing with opponents for a higher score!

Take turns to compose words with the letters from the deck. Each letter has its own points. The main goal of the word game is to reach the highest score by making words on the board with your letters.

The rules of Easy Words are quite simple:

- The game is played on a 13x13 board.
- You and your opponent receive 7 tiles with letters on them from a tile bag. You have to connect letters in different ways and place the tiles on the board to make a word.
- Words can be formed either horizontally or vertically.
- The player who starts the word game should place a word containing at least two letters onto the board with at least one tile placed in the central square.
- There are 44 bonus cells on the board. They allow you to multiply the points you receive either for a letter or the whole word if a tile with a letter is placed on one of them.
- The game is over when either player uses the last tile, or both of them skip two moves in a row, or if either player has no possible moves left.
- The user with the higher score at the end of the game wins.

Easy Words features:

- Word definition. The built-in dictionary provides the definition of all the words added onto the board. This is an excellent opportunity to enrich your vocabulary!
- Hints. If you are stuck solving word puzzles, simply use a hint.
- Swap. If you have run out of ideas and don’t know what you can create with the tiles you have, just swap the tiles in your deck.
- Shuffle. Get a fresh perspective on your letters to form a new word!

Solve your first word puzzle in Easy Words and dive into the immersive game experience! Accept the challenge, make as many words as you can and train your brain!

???

I started the game with the normal seven letters on my tray, I was not able to use my letters (all 7) to lay down my first word: smarten! The board rejected the word a number of times with no explanation as to why the word couldn’t be used. I am a long time Scrabble player and although I know this is not Scrabble, obviously, you have fashioned your game after that game. It would have been nice to have received an explanation as to why the word was rejected.

Again, a very disappointing game, even though I ended the game ahead.

Developer Response ,

Hello, thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! We're sorry for the frustrating experience. The word "smarten" should be accepted, as it is included in our word list. Could you please provide a screenshot of the issue via the Help section in the app's settings so we can investigate further? We appreciate your feedback and will work to resolve any problems.

Needs bells and whistles

What about reviewing the board at the end of the game? When the AI opponent places the last tile the game ends abruptly showing only the final score. With a close score and tiles left over it could be anybody’s game and I want to see the final board.

This is an adequate knockoff of scrabble since that game was pulled, but still would be nice to have it behave as if it were a real game

Developer Response ,

Hello, thank you for your feedback! In our game, the match ends either when both opponents pass twice or when a player uses all their tiles. We understand your desire to review the board at the end of the game, and we’ll consider improving this aspect of the app to make the experience feel more like a real game.
