Have to have the desktop version to use this

I downloaded this app hoping it would be adequate. There were no other reviews and limited information available. Upon opening it for the first time, I discovered that you apparently have to link the app to a preexisting desktop version, something I don't have. Maybe it is a great app, but I will never know as I quickly deleted it.
