Creating your own custom plant is a subscriber feature from the first day. - Growth stages Setting a plant's state is now a lifecycle wheel: sowing, germination, seedling, vegetative, flowering, fruiting, ripening. Pick where the plant is and the app works the dates out backwards, including the timeline chart on the plant card. Crops planted for winter are scheduled from your first frost date. - Planner Plants are placed by their real spacing with sensible size defaults, density is tuned to how a gardener actually fills a bed, and a saved bed reopens exactly as you left it. The varieties panel shows which plant type you are browsing. Task cards drag by the grabber and link straight to the full week. - Units Settings > Units switches measurements (imperial or metric) and temperature (°F or °C). Plant cards, planner, bed dimensions and the weather strip all follow. - Sign-in Google sign-in added alongside Apple and email. Terms and Privacy links now sit on the sign-in and sign-up screens. - Fixes Plant photos come from a single source now, so they load faster and stop going missing. To-do and My Plants lists scroll properly under the tab bar. Growth Phases no longer truncates 3- and 4-digit day numbers. Plant status survives a garden refresh. Plus a batch of layout and typography corrections across plant cards.

What's new in 1.0.6 Garden planner: • Plants now fit the count you ask for. If a bed can't hold them all at full size, the sprites shrink to fit, and round and oval beds count correctly. • Bed labels stay on top and no longer cover the plants. • Care tasks regenerate after you change a planting date or method, and the task badge updates as soon as you finish one. There's also a new "Back to planned" button. • Sowing dates now respect each plant's status, and the "Add plants" tile always comes first. • Manual plant-count edits stay on their own bed, and we fixed cases where scrolling or dragging could get stuck. • The planner is smoother and more stable overall.
