Ratings and Reviews
I’ve used this app and several others on and off for years and it only gets worse. The amount of money they pay for jobs has gone down and the amount of photos/questions has gone up. Other apps only require 1 to 4 photos but this one will have you taking photos of the sign, front and back of the store, the product or empty shelf several times and if you say the item isn’t there and if the next question is about a similar product next to it they want several photos of that same area again to prove it’s not there. I have too many complaints to list here. But if this app decides to pay more or offer better jobs I’d be happy to do them. But this app is not so friendly. If you have a problem on a job and click the I was asked to leave the store button they will not pay you if you started the job and left a question unanswered. They have several tricks they try to use to get you to do the work and submit many photos and answers without getting payment in return because you missed a question or checked the wrong box. It’s sad. But use at your own risk and good luck with their support team. Other apps are easier to use ask less questions and pays more money for less work. Field Agent is the best in my opinion.
Not a scam, just real work
I have had this app downloaded for as long as I can remember and never really did anything on it (which I completely regret as I’m writing this!!), but I just started really doing jobs this last week. Pay may not be a ton, but for the little amount of time you spend I think it’s worth it. I did 2 jobs on a Friday night, around 4:30. One of them was approved before I hit my second shift, the other one got approved Monday morning. Paid for the first one before I even woke up Monday morning, and the second paid by Tuesday. I’ve read the other reviews saying too much work for so little pay, but really guys it’s not a lot. An average shift for me is about 20-30 pictures (WHICH IS NOT BAD CONSIDERING YOU ONLY HAVE TO TAKE PICTURES). There’s no “type 100 words about your experience” or anything like that. Compared to some of the other apps and websites I’ve seen this one is a pretty easy going, quick money making app, for those who are prepared to do what is asked. Yes - there’s a chance you can get denied money, but that’s if you’re not doing what’s asked or don’t complete the job to it’s fullest.
I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to make extra money but not afraid to do what’s asked.
Consistent and quick way to earn money
I’ve been using this app somewhat regularly for a few years now. If you look at the instructions prior to beginning a gig, it’s really not hard to understand and you get the hang of it really quickly.
When I first started using this app around 2019, this one was one of my least favorite of the gig apps, it paid relatively lower and seemed like it was more work comparatively.
Fast forward to post-COVID times, and EasyShift has evolved to being one of the highest paying of this type of app, and it definitely has a minimal work load compared to most others now. It’s easily my favorite gig/photo audit app to use. After submitting a gig, payout is fairly prompt, usually hits my PayPal within 3 days or so.
My only major complaint is that if we submit a gig and something was amiss, I.e., some photos were too blurry, or we missed a corner of a display, I really wish EasyShift had the option for us to correct and re-submit our work. That is what the other ones all do; instead, EasyShift will either “reject” or “approve” your work, so if yours gets rejected for any reason, all of that invested time taking photos was wasted.
