Really nice stuff. I’d like a couple tweaks

I really like the app. It would be great if there were a switchable count in click for those of us just getting familiar with Brazilian rhythms. Sometimes, especially, when a groove doesn’t start with an obvious downbeat, I can get turned around and lose one. Along the same lines, it would be better for me if when you hit pause during a groove that it starts again at the beginning when you hit play. More of a “stop start” than a “pause start.” I don’t really have a need to start the groove right where I stopped. But maybe some do. Anyway, I love the grooves. Nice work!!

Authentic and Unique

Excellent choice of rhythms, especially wide selection of Afro-Brazilian grooves including candomble toques that capture the real swing and timing. But all are great, and many styles have been recorded with more than one variation, i.e. are versions as played by a historic legend or innovator, or in traditional vs. more contemporary versions. HIGHLY recommended for absolutely authentic feel and expression, great for self-study but of course also teaching.
You won’t be able to get a better percussion section in a box than this. The mixer feature is what makes this so useful and educational, being able to isolate each drum.

BUGGY but worth it for the music

Have run into some annoying glitches tech wise (forced updates, one lockout which i eventually figured out how to get passed, the app still crashes when you switch to bluetooth from phone speakers...)

On the musical side it is great and it is a great tool for anyone who studies Brazilian music.

Hi there, we fixed the log in issue with the new update, This is a one time only procedure. Also, once you have downloaded the rhythms, they stay on your phone, no necessity to download them again. All the best and enjoy Brazilian grooves!
