Takes forever to login
I know now a days you have to be 5 steps ahead of the scammers but come on it takes 10 minuets after answering questions that get pulled from what the registry of deeds. Please put the fingerprint logon option so I don’t have to plan an hour finding my balance.
Always down - literally costs me hundreds of dollars
This app is the literal Worst. I’m the moron for staying with this bank and it’s useless app. This week it has been “attempting updates” and refuses to update or launch (and the browser site won’t load either) and as someone who doesn’t have the time to go trade with clamshells and wompum at a traditional branch during business hours that leaves me UNABLE TO DO ANY BANKING - for FOUR DAYS NOW. I have multiple accounts that I use to transfer funds between as needed for bills so auto-drafts don’t take money I’m not expecting, and without access to the app I’ve now been over drafted or rejected from severa bill payments - so EBSB gets overdraught fees, rejected credit card payments charge late fees and rejected fees and finance charges.
I HATE THE EBSB MOBILE BANKING SYSTEM.
I’ve been w ebsb for like 30 years but as soon as they deign to grant me access to my money again I’m leaving for a bank that actually allows their customers to - you know - use and access their accounts
Why is it so outdated and missing so much information???
Why is the mobile app so outdated? Upon signing in there is no touch ID or Face ID functionality which is a standard that most of the banking apps have had for years already. Manually entering my password every time I want to check on my account is quite annoying.
Furthermore I don’t have any options to see the available amount of transactions for the remainder of the month in my savings account which is absolutely necessary when they charge you major fees for going over 6. The people pay feature also does not work for savings accounts and there’s no secure message center to contact agents so I am limited to phone discussions or physical mail which seems wildly inconsistent when trying to reach a representative in a timely manner. Why is there no live chat option either?
