Description

Instantly turn voice & text notes into an organized knowledge base.

JUST CAPTURE, DON’T ORGANIZE

Traditional note apps force you to choose: either interrupt your flow to organize as you capture, or struggle to find your ideas later. Echo breaks this trade-off.

Discover a self-organizing notebook that gives you both frictionless capture AND effortless retrieval. Just focus on getting your thoughts down. Echo automatically builds connections so you can find and develop your ideas without the organizational overhead.

KEY FEATURES

- Capture inspiration instantly with 1-click note-taking from iPhone or Apple Watch (or record directly with Siri and Apple Shortcuts)
- Think freely with unstructured voice and text notes; no folders, tags, or categorization required
- Let Echo automatically organize related ideas into discoverable topics as you capture
- Find and explore your thoughts effortlessly by asking Echo about connections in your notes
- Experience vibe writing. Watch your drafts evolve as you capture new related thoughts

Echo creates a fluid cycle between capturing ideas, developing thoughts, and writing content. No more choosing between quick capture and organized retrieval, no more writer's block, and no more typing when you'd rather be talking—just continuous evolution of your thinking.

YOUR ****PRIVACY MATTERS
Your notes are encrypted, and only you have access to them. Echo does not use your data to train any AI models. Your notes stay secure and private.

FREE TO USE
The free plan gives you everything you need to capture, connect and develop ideas. We aim to always provide a generous free tier and you need only upgrade if you're a power user.

ESSENTIAL for small business owners

I operate all aspects of my small business and there’s only so much I can remember myself. I wish I were a pen to paper person but the convenience of having my notes and thoughts at all times is unparalleled in this day and age.

I appreciate echo because it’s user interface is very simple, so much so that my mother who also has a small business is able to navigate the app without much thought.

This app has truly bridged a gap that was needed in the note taking + AI space. I love using the “notes app” on my iPhone but often find I’m scrolling and scrolling until I find what I’m actually looking for. Having a virtual assistant of sorts has been game changing in retrieving my information efficiently and quickly, both things that I rely on in my hectic everyday life. I think this app is something everyone can benefit from in many regards, but from one small business owner to the next, it’s a necessity for me.

***UPDATE***
Thank you so much for addressing my concerns and clarifying the terms of service. I truly appreciate your openness to improving the language to make it more accessible. Please know that there was no malice intended in my review—I genuinely love using the app, and knowing that these issues have been addressed makes me feel much better about continuing to use it.

I am reassured knowing that Echo is in such capable hands. Your commitment to transparency and user privacy means a lot, and it’s great to see your proactive approach to feedback. Thank you once again for your efforts and dedication to making the app even better. Keep up the fantastic work!

This app has great potential, but I have significant concerns regarding privacy and my data. While your website states that user data is private, protected and encrypted, and that our input will not be used to train AI, your terms of service convey a different message. They explicitly indicate that you can utilize any of my input or output as you wish, including selling it or using it for promotional purposes without my consent. This raises an important question: Is my data truly private and exclusively mine, or do you also claim ownership over it? I believe that all current and future app users deserve clarity on this issue.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for believing that Echo has potential! And thank you for pointing out that our Terms of Service could use simpler language, because we absolutely want it clear that we do not have the right to use your data however we wish. We use your data to improve the app, and by "data" we mean things like logging in, performing an action, hitting an error (rare, but when that does happen we need some data to fix it). Your actual notes are encrypted and not available to us for selling or using in promotional materials. You're right that our Terms of Service could say this in simpler terms.

You can confirm that we've made these changes to Section 5 of our Terms of Service: https://www.echonotes.ai/terms-of-service

Thanks again for pointing out the unnecessarily legalese. We're just two cofounders here and your feedback has a direct impact.

Amazing at capturing my thoughts

Echo has been awesome for me to get my ideas down when a ton of things come flooding into my brain. I often leave work trying to think of all of the things I need to get done later in that day and using this app I can get those down so much more quickly. When I sit down to get my tasks done, I query echo to understand all of the things I need to do. It’s awesome and I recommend everyone give it a try because it’s so simple
