Description

Echobatix is an accessibility tool for printed text, touch screens, kiosks, and signage. Read what's at the end of your finger. Speak to search for a word.

Echobatix provides text accessibility so that you can interact with touch screens, control panels, and inkprint. Moment by moment, the app reads text that would otherwise not be accessible to people who are blind, low vision, or have print disabilities. In Explore mode, hear words spoken aloud as you move your index finger. In Find mode, speak a command such as "Find the word Start, please" and then scan your surroundings until audio feedback indicates the word has been found. Echobatix works with VoiceOver, though VoiceOver is not required. Over the past few years we have developed and tested our point and speak capability for mobile devices and smart glasses. Our team, half of which is blind, is committed to continual innovation. The Echobatix app is a tool to exercise your right to accessibility.
