Great concept!! Want to see more!
I’ve only had this app for like two days and I love it so far but I think it has so much more potential!! I think the app has great incentive for anyone to live with greener habits in their life, but as someone who already does a lot of the listed habits, I would love to see more! That way we can learn more different ways to lead an even greener lifestyle. I would also suggest there be options for occuption (because not everyone works in an office) for example a school option? I love the products and sources section, they are all very informative and gets you thinking about how else you can be greener. I found this app from an ad on instagram but the post was confusing and I couldnt really understand what the app was from the page until I downloaded it. But I’m really glad I did! Hope the app grows even more!!

Fantastic feedback! We will take all of this into consideration in future releases. I'm glad you like the idea, and we plan on improving it more and more over time for people just like you. Thank you for using the app :)
I love the idea of this app! I love the focus on small choices and the instant gratification as well as the community aspect. this app is definitely for the absolute beginner and doesn’t really work if you have a more consciously sustainable lifestyle, or even if you don’t live in a city and work in an office. though it’s good that this exists to get people excited and to show how much small choices add up.
I don’t really like that the app doesn’t ask people to look at the full picture; for example, bringing your own mug to a coffee shop is an achievement but choosing a sustainable fair-trade source of coffee isn’t. going vegan is an achievement but buying local & sustainable isn’t.
I also don’t like that there are products for sale within the app — first of all I think in any eco friendly lifestyle it should be a high priority to buy fewer brand new things, regardless of their quality! and second, it seems like an oversight to ask people to reduce their own waste and driving mileage, but also try to sell them products that need to be packaged and shipped.
this app is designed to broach these topics but shies away before really challenging its users. thank you
Not customizable enough
This app has potential but it’s frustrating how inaccurate the configuration is at the beginning where you customize your carbon footprint. What if your energy changed and is one of the greener options sourced by wind and solar? How is that not an option? What if you’re already a vegetarian? Diet should be in the initial customization, maybe even how many days per week do you eat chicken/fish/meat, even dairy. But to add it at the end that you were vegetarian for one day only makes sense once the program already knows your diet. When I put in that I “plan” to be vegetarian everyday and was today it didn’t alter my CO2 footprint at all!
And you should be able to list how many days per week you use different modes of transportation instead of “do you bike everyday?” Because I love to bike but it’s difficult to do where I live so I use the subway. I do bike sometimes and I think there should be more options so it is actually accurate to my real carbon footprint. This definitely is way off.
