eDate: Spin A Match 17+

I am currently experiencing issues with the app. Initially, I was able to use the messaging feature for free. However, I have noticed that certain messages that were initially free now require a premium subscription. This has disrupted my conversations with other users, and I am unable to reconnect with them. Not everyone has the financial means to afford a premium membership. I kindly request that this matter be addressed to ensure that all users, regardless of their financial capacity, can continue to use the app and its features. Thanks for your rating and feedback. As a free guest member of eDate, you are able to create and edit your personal profile as you wish, including adding photos and a personalised message. You are also able to Spin-a-Match with other members, and send free flirts (short, one-click messages), with one click or tap.

As a full member, you can enjoy unlimited communication with other members of your choice. This means that you are able to read and reply to your email messages, see who has viewed your profile, see who has Liked you, view all photos in a member's gallery - all of which can be done as often as you desire. You also receive far fewer ads.

As you can see there are benefits to being both types of member - however, in order to communicate with our other members and to use the site's full features, you must become a full member of eDate. We occasionally offer promotions which we hope you will consider taking advantage of.

I forgot my password so I submitted my email address to have a link emailed to me to reset my password. I get the email and I hit the reset password button and it sends me to the login window where I have to put in my email and password, or I can select the link that says “forgot password” which then sends me to a screen that asks for my email address so they can send me a link to reset my password. And it just goes back into the same loop. At no point do you get to reset your password.

After many, many tries I eventually got the password reset. Entered all the necessary information into my profile. Looked at the matches created and decided to just keep looking. Then the next day I see that others have viewed and liked my profile. When I tried to see who liked me, I find out I have to upgrade to the premium account, which is more expensive than I care to spend so I just deleted my account. Wasted a lot of time and effort to get into my account for nothing.

I thought that after becoming a paying member that I would be able to search, but no you just keep spinning and only get so many spins and then have to wait 24 hours until you get to spin again, just like before I was a paying member. I contacted Help and they did get back to me confirming that there is no search. I did find someone I liked. But some how deleted it. Now I have to spin once in 24 hours and hope I come across her again? Not cool. They also tell you that you have messages but this is not true when you click on the profile that supposedly sent you the mail there is no message. Don’t be fooled by that, it’s just an attempt to get you to join. The only benefit of being a member is that you get to mail another member. I definitely won’t be renewing.

The Spin-a-Match feature searches for you to find the best matches in your area that are in the age range you are seeking and can generate many matches per day (typically 10 spins of 6 matches each, for a total of 60).
