Constantly Unreliable
I like the app interface and features overall, but the largest problem is reliability. It has connection issues where the slider or head will randomly drop connection.
If the connection drops, the slider will finish its motion, but the head will not. This app needs updates that focus on connection reliability.
Pretty embarrassing given the price of the equipment. Likely trying to push you to buy their wired controller instead - which is unscrupulous. They advertise this as working with an app, but the app is so unreliable I constantly have to watch the app to make sure it stays connected.
Works very well
The App has been working very well for me. iPhone 14pro max. I haven’t had any connectivity issues at all and have used it for a good number of weeks now. So far, so good. The only issue I have is if you change the speed and don’t save a pose, it doesn’t change the speed. The speed selected needs to be saved as a pose before the speed will operate at that speed. Intuitively I would think you can change speed to any speed without saving just by moving the sliders, until I saw the sequencer and I think that is where locking in speeds for each pose makes sense.

After the latest update, the app was not working properly with my sliderplus v1 and head module v1. The app kept crashing, however, I contacted Edelkrone and they sent me a replacement slide module v2 and no extra charge and boom! Problem solved! my video production was saved! The most amazing part is that they sent me the replacement the very next day and I received it the following DAY! now that is EXCELLENT customer service! 💪🏼
