Description

The American River Natural History Association (ARNHA) and the Effie Yeaw Nature Center are dedicated to providing educational and interpretive programs and information about the natural environment, principally in the American River Parkway. Our goals are to [1] provide opportunities for the visitor that will promote awareness, appreciation, understanding and enjoyment of the natural and cultural resources of the Sacramento Region and [2] to provide awareness and understanding of human interdependence within a finite ecosystem and the need to conserve its resources and protect its quality.

This application serves to make our interpretative signage on the Nature Study Area trails, entrance and Nisenan replica village area, and our pollinator garden more accessible to our community by offerings multi-language translations and audio files (both are a work in progress so stay tuned for more languages in the future).
