Swipe and the bar no longer offer made-up short words — dictionaries were cleaned up across several languages. • Better with two languages. German nouns stay capitalized in swipe, predictions and typing, even when English is the active layout. • Apostrophes done right. dont becomes don't, hell be becomes he'll, and those words stay in the suggestion bar. • Predictions continue from the letters you've already typed. • Swipe fixes: it works again in emoji, GIF and translator search, and a swipe that ends off the keyboard is dropped. Also new: • Your languages live on the spacebar. Swipe across it to switch between them. • Hold "123" and slide to a symbol, or swipe up on the period. • In a URL field, hold the period for domains: .com, your region's, .net, .org, .eu. • Hold backspace to erase whole words, a search box when adding a language, and a redesigned clipboard.
