A decent field guide should help you identify birds. This absolutely fails. You already have to know the name of the bird to do a search. There are no helpful search criteria, like size, plumage, habitat, location. I gave up on identifying any new birds during my trip to the Middle East. A total waste.
Needs an update--badly
Has potential to be a fine app but sorely in need of patching. Sunbirds and flycatchers are scrambled; wrong pictures with wrong name/description. Needs more calls, too.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
