Learning Egyptian Hieroglyphs made easy
There are more than 1000 glyph illustrations including 400 Egyptian word examples and over 500 hieroglyphs from the Gardiner list. The app includes detailed information on the history of Egyptian writing and mathematics, the use of the different types of symbols, how to write your name, how to recognize kings names and the story of the scribe with a video showing how papyrus is made.
The Hieroglyphic Typewriter and Math Calculator is included. The on screen QWERTY keyboard incorporates alphabet and number symbols together with a selection of determinative signs. The keys include Latin symbols together with their hieroglyph equivalents and descriptions, which allow you to type messages naturally and at a glance see the translations. You can quickly write names and short secret messages and then with the email function you send the results by email.

It's not the best app and costs way too much for this stupid thing. I want my money back, dont waste yours on this app, get Fancy Pants
Pretty basic, incomplete.
The hieroglyphic typewriter might be a neat gimmick, but otherwise this app is rather lacking. The single letter glyphs are given, and a very few syllabic ones, but not much else. The visual dictionary might be of some value if all the signs were represented in the app. This might be ok for middle-school students, but for anyone with more than a cursory interest in learning hieroglyphics, probably save the money.
This is not working because I can’t scroll down to see the other hieroglyphs down below. I can only see the upper ones. This is a problem. Can you please fix it?
