Description

Election Accomplice is a two-part app providing an overview of the 2020 Election, and allowing you to enter the race as a candidate and try to win election yourself. The overview of the 2020 election provides an in-depth analysis of the election, allowing the user to investigate both the Democrat's and the Republican's odds of victory in any state, and in the whole of the United States. The election game allows the user to jump into the Election Race as either a Democrat or Republican, come up with a campaign ideology, run your campaign to the best of your ability, and watch if you win or lose on election night!

What’s New

Version 2.0

The Election Accomplice App has two functions: an election game, and an election forecast model.
In the Election Game, you enter the race as a candidate and employ different campaign strategies to win the election. Travel around the country, raise funds, and campaign strategically to improve your polling averages. However, your opponent will do the same, so make sure you constantly monitor their progress.
In the Election Model, you can observe how the campaign between Joe Biden and Donald Trump changes every day. With the What Are the Odds function, you can change the constraints of the model to see which candidate becomes favored.

Further details can be found in the "How to Play" Section, "Methodology" Section, and with various info (i) buttons throughout the app.
Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Fun, but could be more

I think the base of this game is a great idea.. I love the campaign, travel, pandering, etc details but the back and forth from the map to the menu and back then rest then back to donations is a lot where it feels like the computer is just going along much faster. Also maybe make the map bigger so you could put the menu on the side.

So much potential

I think this game is a load of fun it just could be so much more. This is truly what I wanted out of “the political machine game” just I wish it had more elements of it. Please I beg you, put more into this game it could amazing if just a little more work was put in. Mainly I think having candidates which you could save and opponents which you could also save, have the player be able to create a candidate, by maybe setting a picture for them, having them have a home state and even some personality features. This would allow the maps to come out even greater as you could have favorite son elements play a role in elections or even by region. I think also things that could be added include picking a Vice President which would help you in a state , a popular vote, and of course adding in third parties. Again this game has so much potential and is already pretty great but with a bit more put in, it could be amazing.

Nice work!

This has quickly become my favorite election sim on the App Store. I love that it’s no frills, super informative, and doubles as a forecast tracker.

Couple things I’d love to see: maybe adding a short test before selecting political ideology, so users can learn even more about where they fall on the spectrum irl. Also, maybe a save or continue campaign feature. I locked my screen for a second to talk to someone, and when I came back the buttons were frozen, so I restarted the app and lost my progress. Just a small hiccup, luckily I was that far into the game.

But this is worth definitely a download peeps! Tis the season!
