Ratings and Reviews
Love the premise of the app but...
First let me say, I LOVE the content, the church, etc. This would have been a 5 star rating if it weren’t for the operational issues I’m experiencing with the app.
#1 - when you search for a sermon series, you don’t get the complete list of all the sermons. I’m wanting to watch a series in chronological order but the results will only show a handful of the sermons, in no particular order (for example, using random dates for illustration- you can see June 10, 14, 17th sermons, but where are the ones from 11,12,13,15,16? I have to go to the 10th, look down below under ‘more from this series’ and there I *might* find the 11th).
#2 - when you pause a sermon, it times out after a few minutes and the app completely resets. I like to listen while multitasking, so if I pause for too long, I loose completely where I was in a sermon, have to search for it again and try to find where I left off. Sort of frustrating and discourages me to even try to use the app.
I really hope the developer reads this and can address these issues, because if those were fixed, for me personally and what I use it for, this would be a perfect app.
I have never been inspired like like except one other time in my life like I do here listening to all the sermons, not just Pastor Furtick and his wife but ALL of them. God is truly moving in these churches and I hope and I pray that Pastor Furtick can bring one of those or more churches here in between Charleston and Huntington because we need them truly bad, so many of our young people dying here, drug addiction among other things killing our young people. I’m not saying we don’t have some good preachers but so few and to far apart. Please consider West Virginia, don’t cast us out but yet come in and help us. I have been watching sermon after sermon and I know in my heart we need people like you desperately. You are younger and you can reach people your age, we need this so bad, I am so sad at the amount of young people dying here because of not enough good leadership. I am reaching out for a place of worship for my people I just hope and prayer 🙏🏻 you respond, Please ???
Why must location access be selected to always
I really like Elevation church and that they have their sermons online and through this app, but the app itself needs some work. To be notified that you must enable location services to always every single time you use the app is very frustrating! That needs to stop. It would be great if you could listen to the sermon while your screen is off. Like iTunes music. It is a battery drainer to have to leave the screen on for 30 to 45 minutes at a time is battery drainer. As well let’s say you are watching a sermon, close the app and have to go back to work. The location of where you at in the sermon has not been saved in cache. Meaning you have to thumb slide to time you last remembered watching on the timer. These three fixes alone would make the app itself much better. But again I am grateful for this church and their thoughtfulness to put the message online as they do.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
