Ever wanted to take pictures with a stunning sunset background, only to end up with a bunch of gloomy clouds? Never again. Ember uses machine learning to predict when beautiful sunsets will happen, before they actually happen.
Ember offers you 9-day forecasts of sunset quality, tailored for wherever you are in the world. We trained custom machine learning models on datasets that we curated ourselves, giving you unparalleled forecasts of sunset quality.
Here are some of our features (with lots more in the works!):
• Intelligent forecasts of sunset quality scores for the next 9 days.
• Visualizations of the exact probabilities that went into calculating these sunset scores.

Intuitive and Brilliant
I don’t leave many reviews, but this app is special — the basis for what it does is simple (trying to rate sunsets before they happen) but how well it works makes it powerful. The probability distributions strike the balance between informative and easy-to-understand. It’s been useful knowing which days to take hikes or go view-finding, since I can check the app for 9 days in advance. Overall, just an intelligent piece of software which users can easily use.

My family hates that I EDGE to ember!! At first I thought it was just sunset ratings but it is so much more! My favorite pastime is to goon to the 3s and 4s which is good fun. But one time at work, I opened ember just like any other day, and to my surprise I saw the rating was a FIVE! Usually, I am very mild mannered, but at that moment I just could not hold it in!! I instantly yelled “BOMBOCLATTT” and Ember’ed all over my office 🤢🤢🤢🤢!!
I may have lost my job that day, but money is temporary, Ember sunset ratings will stay with me forever.
I now have a girlfriend because of this app!!
I love beautiful sunsets, but because I never had an easy way to predict the sunset, I’d always take my dates to crappy sunsets and then they would stop talking to me because they didn’t have a good time with me
