EMNet findERnow app is the fastest, most reliable emergency room (ER) finder on the app market today. The findERnow app will locate the closest ER with just one click by using the most comprehensive national database available.

EMNet findERnow uses the iPhone’s GPS to quickly locate ERs anywhere in the U.S. You can select the closest ER or another nearby ER in a map or list format and can locate the closest ERs by driving time or by distance. Once you select an ER, you have 1-click access to directions to the ER and additional information about annual ER visit volume and whether the hospital has a verified adult trauma or adult burn center. You also have the ability to search online for more information about the ER.

You can also quickly see if ERs are more likely to be prepared to provide emergency care for children, as these ERs are marked with a dark blue baby icon. For 99 cents, you can choose to upgrade to the full Pediatric Version to quickly access information about the % of annual visits from children, if the hospital has a verified pediatric trauma or pediatric burn center, if the ER has a separate pediatric area, and if the ER has pediatric emergency care coordinators.

EMNet findERnow is ideal for travelers, especially those suffering with chronic medical conditions, or those traveling with friends or relatives with health problems. Whether you are traveling or close to home, find the nearest ER quickly with EMNet findERnow!

Great idea

As a paramedic making long distance transfers with critical patients this app has great potential. Please include phone numbers for the ER. Please include Helicopter availability.
In my area I found 1 stand alone ER(not attached to a hospital) that has been closed for 6 months and 2 free standing ER’s not indicated on map. Differentiating between hospital ER and stand alone ER would be nice..

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your kind words and feedback. It's challenging to find accurate, up-to-date national data for some characteristics, but we'll keep your suggestions of adding helicopter availability, phone numbers, and information about whether a facility is a hospital ER vs freestanding ER in mind as we look for ways to improve the app. Please feel free to contact us at feedback@emnet-usa.org to report a missing or closed ER, and we will update this information in the app immediately.

Absolutely Must Have

This app saves lives. We were on vacation in an unknown city far from home. A family member was having a serious allergic reaction to sunscreen. Breathing became difficult. This app showed us several ER’s in the area and we got to one and after being treated aggressively tragedy was avoided.
This has saved lives. All of our family members have it on their phones.
You’ll be glad you have it when you need it.

Very helpful app!!

I used this app when I was visiting family during the winter holiday and had to go to the ER! It displayed very helpful information about the ER closest to us. Since my family lives somewhat in the middle of nowhere, having an app that tells you where the closest options are in an emergency is a necessity.
