Search function is defective

I was so glad to find this app, which is an electronic version of my all-time favorite thesaurus. But its design makes it nearly useless. When you search for a word, the result shows up underneath the search box, so there is no way to select the word to see its synonyms. I have not found a way around this problem, and the developer has not bothered to respond to my email inquiry. Until this defect is addressed, the app is not worth the minimal cost.
