What’s New

Version 6.6.0

Good day everyone! Here comes the new, shiny update of Enpass. With this release, your security has gone a few notches higher with an improved Audit Section.

WHAT'S NEW

## Breach Monitoring | CURRENTLY VISIBLE TO PREMIUM USERS ONLY
Enpass has got new brains to notify you about website breaches so that you always stay on top of your security. Change passwords of vulnerable accounts as soon as you get alerts. All the checking happens locally on your device without sending any URLs to us.

## 2FA Supported Logins | CURRENTLY VISIBLE TO PREMIUM USERS ONLY
Identify your accounts that support 2FA but don't have one-time codes saved in Enpass. You can go through the list and choose not to save one-time codes in Enpass if you're using any other method like call, email, or text for second-factor authentication.

# Another reason to love your Apple Watch! This update allows you to unlock Enpass on any Mac—supporting Touch ID—with your watch. You will be prompted on both Mac and Apple Watch, and you can choose as per your convenience.

# Enpass Assistant has got better with a lot of new features suggested by you all. You can now add new logins, edit them directly from the browser extension without jumping on to the main app. Also, the detail page of any item in the assistant will show the associated tags as well.

# New Audit section design as a single-entry dashboard to review any possible vulnerabilities regarding your accounts and passwords.

# Now you see a prominent warning header on the item's details page if that particular website is breached in the past, supports 2FA, or the password of that item is weak, compromised, identical, or has expired.

# Nextcloud users, now you have a direct option to set up your sync. If you've enabled 2FA in your Nextcloud account, you don't have to create an App password if you do it using this option.

IMPROVEMENTS

* Faster restore from cloud now, with improvements in the attachment download process.
* All your items under 'Expiring tomorrow' and 'Expiring in a week' will now be listed under 'Expiring Soon.'

FIXED

* Fixed sync issues with Onedrive and Dropbox.
* Item counts in the sidebar were getting disappeared on trying to search for an item. Fixed.
* Few of you were unable to select the text in the search field in Enpass. Fixed.
* Fixed a few issues with Touch id.
* Custom icons were not showing up for few users who had synced with multiple devices. Fixed.
* Fixed an issue in auto-filling items having URLs in Chinese language.
* On launching from the System tray, the maximized window of Enpass was not minimizing.
* Fixed an issue where the app showed a gray screen when opened after quitting on MacOS High-Sierra.
* Fixed an issue where Custom section names were not displayed from items created via custom template having custom sections.
* The app became unresponsive if it had '-' in the vault name. Fixed.
* Fixed an issue where webform data was not getting copied on duplicating an item.

Pretty good, room to grow.

I am a recently dissatisfied customer of another popular product that chose money over past promises and forced their customers into a new model where they can choose between security and features. It almost drove me back to just using *one password* for everything, but luckly I found Enpass.

I am now hoping to be a loyal Enpass customer for years to come. I just hope they are able to stick with the current App Store license model and continue delivering standalone licensing with iCloud sync as they do today. If necessary, I will happily pay for the desktop version as well to help keep things going in the same direction.

I am happy with the current product overall, but I would like to see a couple of features added if possible:

-favicon support instead of manual management of canned icons for web logins
-selective sync
-separate "containers” with the ability to sync using separate services (e.g. iCloud for one and OneDrive for the other)
-an option to share entire “containers" with other users (preferrably with iCloud sync)
-more frequent updates
-implement the new Mojave and iOS 12 Password Manager API on day 1

I just love Enpass!!!

I’ve tried them all and I simply think this is the best.

Not only do you not have to pay monthly/yearly fees, this is also the best feature wise. Enpass has finally made me feel comfortable enough to actually forget all my passwords. I changed all of my online accounts to passwords I don’t know. Every account is different, and super long and complex. I just autofill with the browser plugin or copy and paste from the main app or mobile app. Plus with the built in 2 factor authenticator, I can use Enpass for all my authentication needs. I enabled 2 factor for everything that supports it because of this app! I love the way Enpass can automatically copy the 2 factor OTP for you so when you are presented with a 2FA box on a website, you just paste! No looking at your phone, no manual copy and paste, it’s just there, waiting in the clipboard. I also love syncing to my cloud of choice. I just use iCloud, the app stays in sync seemlessly across all of my devices.

I honestly think this one is a night and day difference from the other password managers out there. I couldn’t be happier with my choice.

Having second thoughts ...

i replaced 1Password with enpass over a year ago, and have been a very happy customer. One of the reasons I like it is that it syncs great with iCloud. Now, just like 1Password and others, they want you to have an account with them and register, and I have a problem with that even with no charge. I am having a popup asking me to click to upgrade to a newer version, which means now we have updates NOT coming through the App Store, which worries me. Why do developers of very successful apps do their best to screw up after they develop customer loyalty is beyond me. I bought tis app on the app store, and I have no need to use it with "other platforms". The developers may want to expand to other platforms and increase their revenu without having to write different apps for each different platform, but by doing this they are taking away the reason I switched to enpass from 1Password. Now I am thinking of switching back.
