I really enjoy this app
I purchased all of the extensions but can only use the audio files which is fine. I just wish I didn’t waste the money on the other extensions. It would be amazing if the app could be updated more often because I use it almost everyday wether it’s to write, practice or help my students. I’ve recommended it to several friend despite the weird bugs. Hopefully these prayers are answered lol.

The MusicXML files can be opened with Finale, Sibelius, MuseScore, and other notation software. HTH!
I love composing random music off of the top of my head, writing beats, and I even use this to write new warmups and cadences for the high school I went to. This app is worth the money, and the extra features are great too. I can export sheet music to print, and I can export audio to play along with. No other app is quite like this, and this has a easy to use GUI. Perfect.
It’s not bad
The instruments aren’t entirely clear and some effects (rimshots) aren’t very different from the other. Also there aren’t half note rolls only eighth note which is very annoying and you can’t tie rolls to other notes. So in in reality there are no rolls in this app only buzzes. Also come on $20 for this. I’ve gotten free apps that were better than this. I’m 15 and I just spent all the money I had on this to get a mediocre app. If you want me to be happy and if you want five stars from me your gonna have to fix all of the problems I stated.
Developer Response ,
The instruments are a standard drum line setup: snare, tenors, bass, and cymbals. Play around with the app and it should be obvious. Actually the app handles rolls just fine - figure out the meter you want and then add the number of notes needed. For a five stroke roll (http://vicfirth.com/five-stroke-roll-2/), tap an eighth note 4 times to get 4 32nd notes and tap the next eighth to end the roll. If you have a different meter need, then adjust the number of notes in the measure. Please use the "email us" feature if you have more questions. If you are still unhappy with our product feel free to contact Apple for a refund and delete the app. Happy Drumming!
