Epson Label Editor Lite 4+

This app needs some love and attention. It looks like it's one or two decades old, and in this age of technology, is embarassingly outdated and limited in function- it has no icons / emoji type icons, or templates whatsoever. Not to mention label printer connections issues, many times it doesn't see/recognize the printer? They should allow you to also select from all printers since it doesn't see the epson printers, maybe this would allow it to see the epson printers better. IT would also be nice to be able to test print on a regular printer so you don't waste tape, if you want to see it printed first. This should also expand printability to the newer wireless Epson bluetooth label printers, not just USB wired. In order to stay competitive they need to update this to the modern day standards. Compare to the Mac Brother p-touch app and the difference is huge. Epson label tapes are great though and seeing they came out with a new mobile Epson label printer and App which does include icons and emojis, they should be able to add them to the desktop application, especially since the desktop should offer more options and label customization options. The expanded PC version, although offers more custom design and business templates, is also very outdated. I am hoping they modernize soon.

I hate to start off with calling names, but this app is hot garbage. I use my PX900 in a professional setting and I use the self-laminating cable wraps and this cheap imitation of the Windows app doesn't even have the option for those labels. $400 for this do-it-all device and this app doesn't even scratch the surface. I should have gotten a Brother or Brady. Guess I'll need IT to build a windows laptop for me, which is plain dumb.

Printer has never been consistent using the USB cable to a Mac - desktop or laptop - but it seems to be fine with a tablet or phone -

Latest update won’t work for me at all on the Mac - disappointing but IOS connections seem to still work -

The desktop software is also really thin on features and the printer is a bit thin on features in general but it seems to work for simple labels

I wish somone (Epson please step up?) would build a printer like the old P-Touch PC that could handle graphics, bitmaps, all fonts etc - a higher resolution tool for labels would be a really welcome addition to the desktop.
