EPUB & PDF interconverter 4+

The conversion was super quick - seconds but the PDF pages were completely out of order. This is a time consuming task.

I followed the instructions or, in absence of instructions, what seemed correct. I dragged and dropped an image of my Downloads folder to the "Output Folder box in the app and "/Users/macboopro/Downloads" appeared in that window. Good so far.

Then I slected "EPUB to PDF" at the top, dragged and dropped one small epub file into the app and clicked the Start button. Immediately, and I do mean Immediately, I got notice that the process had completed and target folder open. Yes, my Downloads folder did open in a new window but no new file appeared. Tried this several times with single and multiple files. Same result.

Although there was no indication that I would need to purchase a license, I did anyway. Fool I am as that made zero difference.

The one and ONLY thing this app did accomplish was to invade my entire computer to change the icon for every ePub file in my computer to it's logo.

I even attempted to contact the company via the "App Support" link in the App Store. First time I have EVER experienced having to contact a developer via Twitter. That may be "so what" for many, but I DON"T DO TWITTER.

So, as it looks now, this app was designed for one purpose - steal money.

I suggest that the developer contact me and rectify the situation. I will be glad to update this review if you do so. You have my email address.

At first glance, might appear a bit dodgy, and the functionality before unlocking ($4.99) wasn't totally defined (for me at least) at the outset of deploying the app, but turns out it was worth it. I'm not entirely sure why, but converting file types seems very luxurious. If you need uniform file types, this is a very effective option.
