ER Alert is a mobile app from researchers at Northwestern University that uses your device's geocoding features to help alert your doctor when you visit a hospital or emergency room.

ER Alert is part of a research study conducted by Dr. David T. Liss at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.

Discuss any information with your own primary care physician to determine what is right for you. All information is intended for your general knowledge only and is not a substitute for medical advice from your primary care physician or treatment for specific medical conditions.

Furthermore, ER Alert also includes crash-reporting software that captures any application crashes and transmits that information to the AppCenter service. No personal data is sent to this service, and only study staff have access to crash logs and device model information included in these submissions.
