Written by the same Eric that developed the Eric's Solitaire Sample that came on every Mac in the U.S. and Eric's Ultimate Solitaire for Mac OS. You can drag and drop or tap cards to move them. You can even throw the cards with a shove! Supports portrait and landscape orientations and has a fun user interface.
Spider is one of the most popular variations of solitaire. It's Eric's favorite as it offers lots of room for skill and is challenging. This version is strictly for iPad.

Sorry about the ads. I try to keep them to a minimum but they're integral to keeping things going with my business. You might prefer the paid version of Spider Solitaire HD. Also, if there are any ads that don't work correctly or are especially irritating please let me know. I try my best to block out annoying ads and ads that cause problems but it's hard to catch them all. eric@sniderware.com
very good version
Very good, and it's free! I love that you can deal a
new layer even if there are empty cells. I also like
being able to choose backgrounds and card backs
since the latest update.
Ads are annoying
I paid for the app to not have ads & as soon as software updated, it does not recognize that I paid.

Sorry about the confusion! This is the free ad-supported version. Please look on you’re iPad for the paid version. The icons look the same :( but the name underneath is different. And you’ll see the difference inside the game, too. Please email me at eric@sniderware.com if you have any trouble!
