Drag, tap, or for the most fun, give cards a shove to send them on their way!

Written by the same Eric that developed the Eric's Solitaire Sample that came on every Mac in the U.S. and Eric's Ultimate Solitaire for Mac OS. You can drag and drop or tap cards to move them. You can even throw the cards with a shove! Supports portrait and landscape orientations and has a fun user interface.

FreeCell is one of the most popular variations of solitaire. It offers lots of room for skill so players don't have to rely on luck as much as in other solitaire variations. This version is strictly for iPad.

Your game is saved when you quit or get a call and is quickly restored when you return.

• Includes three games: FreeCell, Eight Off and Towers solitaire
• Beautiful art, cool particle effects and a fun user-interface
• Subtle sound effects so you can enjoy your music
• Drag and drop cards or throw them!
• Playable cards wiggle or glow -- turn off for a bigger challenge. The more the cards wiggle the better the move.
• Unlimited Undo
• Portrait and Landscape support
• Game state saved when interrupted

New update reformatted game

Adds now appear across top and cover part of game. Game section smaller. Cards in suite now on side. Wasn’t it at top?

Liked the older format much better!

I play on an iPad.

I have played this game for years and enjoyed it. Of course, the ads were a pain, but I put up with them, even though they got longer and longer. At first the ads were just on the screen and you could click them and get back to the game. Then they started to be longer and you couldn’t click off of them, which really reduced how much I liked the game, but, again, I put up with it.
But just recently, there is a huge ad at the top of the screen that interferes with the play of the game. As a result, I’ll play the other games I enjoy, but will no longer be playing Free Cell, as it is almost unplayable with the huge, no-removable banner. There are a lot of free games available that don’t have this problem and I’m surprised the developer has made such a bad decision.

This should be fixed in the latest version. Please try it out and email me if there's still a problem – support@sniderware.com There were always banner ads in this version of FreeCell Solitaire. They used to be at the bottom but the advertisers complained about too many accidental "Clicks" so I had to move the banner to the top.

The app recently changed for the worse

The ads used to appear at the bottom of the screen which was fine. Now they appear at the top of the screen which covers up part of the cards that have been moved off. It makes it hard to see what card is on top of each stack which in turn makes it harder to play the game.
