The ESF App provides quick access to the following functions for ESF parents, student and teachers

Messages: for general bulletin and child specific communications
Diary: for general and child specific dates of events and appointments
News: links to Social Media for 'nice to know' celebration of what happens in ESF schools
Contacts: Important Names, emails and phone numbers and a directory of staff email addresses
VLE: secure link through to the school Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
Timetable: overview of student's timetable
Homework: listing of current homework tasks for a student
Teachers: names and email addresses of a student's teachers
Absence: send email to school with details of student absence
Bus: send email to school with details of student absence from the school bus

ESF App is configured in one go for all students/schools within the ESF through a secured pin sent to a registered email

Needs to improve

News Feed shouldn’t be a link to Facebook asking to log in.
I don’t have an account and don’t want one.
Program of inquiry links to a pdf file hard to read on a mobile device.
Update: actually you don’t need to log in to facebook to see the Facebook news feed. But it is slow to load so at times it doesn’t let you scroll down. But anyway it shouldn’t be a link to an external network.

App keeps crashing

I have one child in KGV and one child in KJS. When I click on Messages from KGV, the app crashes. When I click on settings, the app crashes. It only works when I click on the options for KJS. Please fix.
