Essay Launcher is so simple that even the most reluctant writer can finish a five paragraph essay without picking up a pencil or touching a keyboard. The user provides the ideas by answering one question at a time creating a rough draft and/or an outline that can be uploaded for further revisions.
Allows students to confidently express their thoughts and ideas without limitations or concerns about organization.
Essay Launcher uses Open Dyslexic, a font designed to reduce letter confusion, crowding, and rotation issues. There is the option of voice to text so user never has to pick up a pen, but can opt to use a keyboard if they would like. It is designed by teachers who understand the writing process and how to simplify it.
Anyone can use Essay Launcher! It can help elementary, middle-school, high-school and even college-aged writers. It is especially beneficial for students who have learning differences such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, executive dysfunction, trouble with fine or gross motor skills, dyspraxia, or issues with working memory.
Essay Launcher is ideal for teachers to reinforce the necessary steps of essay writing -- brainstorming, creating a thesis, constructing three main arguments, providing supporting detail, and successfully concluding. It cements the idea that a rough draft is essential to crafting a good essay.

An idea to make the app better
As a low income college student diagnosed with autism, generalized anxiety disorder, dyspraxia and possibly auditory processing disorder (APD), that hasn’t been tested for yet and/or expressive or mixed language disorders (hasn’t been tested for yet), this app is good way to start writing college level essays. I just wish there was an option to be able to do other types of writing assignments besides essays that students in college sometimes have to do as well. I also wish college students could right more than a five paragraph essay if he/she gets an assignment that requires it. The Essay Launcher app could include in its next update, that ability to have the app be able to adapt to whatever writing assignment a person has to write weither it be a certain type of essay that has to be written or an assignment where a different type of example for different types of grids has to be found and take a picture of and then a paragraph write up has to go with each example fit example. Having the Essay Launch app be able to adapt to different types of writing assignments including essay writing along with having the prompts adapting to the different types of writing assignments are going to be the 2 most things to include in the next update to this app. Hopefully the developer of this app will read my review and commit on my 2 suggestions to improve the Essay Launcher app with.
Makes essays writing stress free
This app takes helps tame essay anxiety! I like how it walks my kid through the process question by question and gently urges him to add more detail. He takes that guidance a lot better from an app than from mom. The speech to text function works beautifully.
A must for kids who need help with writing
This is a user friendly app to help kids with writing an effective essay. It goes step by step with instructions on what to do next. It even has a microphone so they can talk and the essay will write itself!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
