Introducing EstateSail 1.1.3 We’ve been hard at work making EstateSail better than ever! This update brings exciting new features, improvements, and bug fixes to enhance your estate sale experience: Optimized for iPad & UI Refinements: Enjoy EstateSail on iPad with a new tailored layout for the big screen. We also refined the interface with clearer visuals and removed unnecessary loading spinners for a smoother experience. Enhanced Security: Protect the app with Face ID/Touch ID or a passcode for added privacy. Better Sale Management: Each sale can now have its own dates and shareable details. Items are confined to their own sale’s cart to prevent mix-ups. Plus, when you create a new sale (with Shopify integration enabled), a corresponding Shopify collection is automatically created to keep your inventory organized. Smoother Checkout: We added a split payment option for accepting multiple payment methods in one transaction. The cart now shows total item count and hides out-of-stock items. You can tap items in the cart to edit their details (price, name, etc.). After each sale, the cart clears faster and more reliably (especially for Square and cash transactions). Also, "Clear Cart" now asks for confirmation to avoid mistakes. Improved Item Adding: Adding custom items during checkout is easier. You can include tags and room info, titles auto-capitalize and have a 40-character limit, and the price input is simplified. We also fixed issues to ensure tapping "Add Item" only creates one item and locks inputs while it’s processing (no more accidental duplicates). Photo & Gallery Upgrades: Viewing item photos is more intuitive. Swipe left/right to see the next item without going back to the list. Tap a photo to view it full-screen. Photos taken in the app now save to your camera roll in a dedicated album for that sale. We also added a magnifier in bulk upload to zoom images, and you can choose which photo to use for Google Lens searches. Stronger Shopify Integration: Syncing with Shopify is easier and more reliable. If you connect Shopify after adding items to EstateSail, you can now bulk-upload those items to your Shopify store. Inventory sync works both ways correctly (including returns). Selling via Shopify POS properly archives items in Shopify and logs them in the app. We also added a new item "Size" field (great for clothing), which syncs to Shopify, and updated our Shopify setup guide for smoother integration. Better Square & Payments: Square payments are more stable. We fixed a rare crash when completing a Square transaction, and the app clearly indicates when it’s connecting to Square. Transaction details now correctly show payment sources (Square, Shopify, cash, etc.) and discounts, ensuring your reports are accurate. We also fine-tuned sales reports for all payment types. Bulk Upload & Edit Improvements: Bulk item upload is faster and more reliable. The upload screen has a better layout with a progress indicator. You can specify label types (Standard or Jewelry) on the fly. Bulk editing items is smoother – adjust each item’s price or quantity and apply changes to all selected items easily. Plus, we fixed some bugs when adding many items at once. Reporting & Exports: Customize which columns appear in itemized sales reports so you get the info you need.
