EtherMeet is an AI-enabled video conferencing service for teams who use Slack. EtherMeet captures and analyzes the call (audio, video, shared content, etc) as the call happens and extracts key markers (actions, decisions, topics, important moments, etc) and routes the parts back to the chat channel from which the call started for others to read, watch, or listen. Participants during the call can even manually route call parts with an @mention back into the channel.
EtherMeet learns who is important, what topics and words are important at the Org, Channel, and Individual level to drive greater relevance over time for automatically summarizing discussions and distributing those important parts. The system learns from the temporal context from the discussions and leverages the interactions captured from the team - dialogue, chat, documents shared, call parts routed, watched, and commented on, as well as relationships and behaviors. Calls are summarized intelligently, important moments are pushed and made discoverable so that teams can now collaborate not only across distance but across time - ensuring that context is never lost.
How do I use it? Very simple!
- Install EtherMeet in your Slack Workspace (from www.etherlabs.io). Make use of our free tier, or upgrade to one of our subscription plans to get unlimited calling and playback.
- From any Slack channel, a private group, or direct message, type "/ethermeet" to start an EtherMeet smart video meeting.
- Or launch the iOS app, login to Slack for the workspace that EtherMeet is installed and select a Slack channel to start a call in, or join an ongoing call.
EtherMeet allows team members to set markers (new topic, action item, decision, or just an FYI) and route these call parts seamlessly back into the Slack channel with mentions for others to watch, listen, read, or reply. EtherMeet’s analytics engine also transcribes and analyzes the context of the team discussion, automatically providing an “important moments” summary once the call is over.
Improved performance, app launch and linking markers from Slack.
