Event-O uses the British Orienteering database of events to find events that interest you.

Whether you are seasoned orienteering or someone that likes the orienteering challenge, when there is an event in your local area, Event-O can help ensure you never miss an event again.

Now with push notifications so you never miss an event again!

Event-O displays the various types of events available each day of the month in an easy to view calendar. Events are shown by a coloured bar, red for local events, orange for regional events, yellow for national events, green for major events and blue for international events. If an event has been marked as favourite then it is highlighted with a star.

To avoid clutter on the calendar local and regional events are filtered using the selected regions and clubs. National, major and international events are always displayed.

Selecting a particular display shows the details of events on that day. Again filtered by the selected regions and clubs. For each event there are links to the British Orienteering's website and the club's website for events details. Events can also be marked as favourite and added to the phone's calendar. The event also shows an approximate road mileage to the events, based on the postcode entered on the settings page. There is also the option show the event location in Maps.

To filter the events, to those that interest you, the Regions tab enables the various orienteering regions to be selected as favourite and within each region each club can be selected as required.

When you are away from your orienteering home ground, you can easily see events around you, without having to change the regions and clubs of interest. A double tap of the calendar removed the filter temporarily shown all events in the country.
