I really like this app, but one bug is buggin’ me!

This is the best GTD app I’ve encountered, but recently the iPad app is not always usable. The Add item button disappears in Stage manager mode and does not always reappear even after closing the app and reopening. Please fix this when you can! It’s only bothersome because the app is otherwise so useful.

Really solid and clean

This is my favorite GTD app. It is really simple and clean. The developer is very responsive to comments etc on his forum.

The closest product is NirvanaHQ. But this one is better in almost every way: higher data security, slightly cleaner UI (although both are great), and constant, native desktop clients for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and continual development with a developer who is very responsive to input and has cultivated an active user forum. The ONLY thing that is better in Nirvana is the possibility to forward emails directly to inbox. However I believe this feature is on the roadmap for Everdo.

Best GTD app

This app’s great. They do so much right. It’s on par with Nirvana but it feels a little more modern.

With that being said, some feedback:

Features:
- An actual priority would be nice. Yeah, labels can suffice, but labels aren’t mutually-exclusive. It also feels weird seeing priorities scattered randomly in the labels set when creating a task.
- Dependencies. Since you have “waiting for”, you could just make a task an option in addition to a contact label. Dependencies would be amazing.
- A “wait” date-time like Org and TaskWarrior have. It’s so helpful to be able to create a task, e.g., on the weekend for “Call ACME about Foo” but have it wait until Monday because you can’t do that task until then and you don’t want to be bothered by that task until then.
- Syncing with local storage would be cool because then I could use SyncThing with Mobius.

UX related:
- I like that contexts are prefixed with “@“ but I had to Google that to figure it out. Maybe something in the app to suggest that labels prefixed with “@“ are contexts.
- I hate to be this person, but I think having some simple color scheme options would be a big win. Personally, not a fan of the green color. Lucky for y’all, the NirvanaHQ blue is worse.
- The menu is VERY frustrating to use. I prefer swiping to open/close the left menu, which the app supports about half the time. Closing requires you to tap outside the menu or tapping the menu button at the top – not very ergonomic. It would be nice to be able to reliably swipe the menu like users generally expect from an iOS app.
- Overall, the app can feel janky at times. Transitions are not very fluid.
