Pro-tip: exchange info with your driver(s) so they can give you a heads-up when something happens. Everdriven won’t!

ETA’s can be 20 or 30 minutes off, so basically worthless. The app will say your driver is 2 minutes out, then suddenly it changes to 20. Or it says they’re 26 minutes out, then suddenly they’re on-site. Both of these things happened to me today, actually, and it’s not the first time.

You get notifications when your child is picked up or dropped off, but not when the driver arrives at your home. This would be useful for us condo/apartment dwellers who can’t just peek out our window.

What would REALLY be useful, though, is a notification (of some kind) if your driver is going to be late or if nobody is showing up at all! Instead it’s up to you to call dispatch, at which time you’ll be told your trip is “out for rescue”. What’s that mean? As I eventually deduced, it means that nobody is going to show up…but Everdriven couldn’t be bothered to tell you that proactively so you could make other plans. By the time I figure out nobody’s coming or a driver is half an hour late, my kids are already late to school. Not OK.

I feel very fortunate that my employer is accommodating when I have to drive; I can imagine a lot of parents getting fired over this. The poor drivers get jerked around even more and are not fans of this company. Please do better!

...and it's reliability appears to be getting worse. Today is the second day in a couple of weeks where the app and text messages have said the driver was going to be over half an hour late and then the driver shows up about 10 minutes later.
I gave it two stars because sometimes it will actually work, but that is becoming more rare.

Todays update fixed issue and I changed rating to reflect that. The app was updated 3 days ago. Since then I have to log in each time I open the app and it loads to a white screen. Cannot use the app at all, even after reinstalling. Prior to this the app was helpful in managing my son’s transportation. The only issue I had was it did not notify me when my child was dropped off, only picked up, but that may have been an issue with the driver not the app. Also, it does not allow me to track my child while being transported, but again, that may be driver not app.
