Great idea, not so great execution

I downloaded this app in the hopes that it will help me with organizing a story and helping me to work towards publishing my very own book. When I saw it, I was immediately in love with it. Fantastic tools, the ability to use it on multiple devices, and the ability to actually share your story on there. It looked like the dream app I was looking for.

When I excitedly downloaded it and hastily opened the app, I was a bit disappointed. It was confusing to navigate at first and there was a ton of broken English. It was blatantly obvious that it was translated from a language like Japanese or something. I’m not saying that games that were originally made in a foreign language are bad or make me upset, it’s just that I think they used Google Translate instead of hiring some translators to make sure everything comes out fine. I understand that sometimes, with a not-so-popular mobile app, you can’t afford to get a real translator, but the broken English made it a bit difficult to understand for English users. The formatting of the app is also a bit confusing, especially at first, but I think the inconsistency with the English made my brain really confused and allowed it to see the slightly annoying formatting as really confusing.

Overall, great concept and I think it could be a really helpful tool to writers with the right funds, but right now, the developers need more money to make this the great app it can be.

Better than other’s I’ve tried...

I am doing this to get the free upgrade. That said...So far this is the app I like the best of the ones I have tried. Some I have even paid for. Love the outline/map view. Extremely helpful.
I also like the character cards, however
The cards could use a little more polishing and be more user friendly and the app does suffer some glitches in general. I have had to quit it and relaunch so I can see additions or changes some times.
Which is why I gave it 3 and not 4 stars.
I hope newer updates will fix the glitches and improve what is already a very decent and promising product.
If I may suggest future enhancements...find a way to work in the Apple Pencil. I prefer to use an external keyboard for typing and I don’t always have that with me so...Highlighting and circling and such would be nice additions to mark up sections you may want to come back to later or jot down some quick notes.

Is this a joke?

I enter the app and I had this odd white box pop up. 2 minutes later, when it was STILL white, I clicked on the x. Then it had me on this screen that had 4 real books when suddenly, there was a flash, and the books disappeared leaving behind something that said I have ‘maked’ no books. It literally said that. I tried to get to where I make a book, and it said to sign up. I put my email and password in, but the same flash happened and it told me to enter my Facebook account and sign up through Facebook. I had already put my password in for signing up with email. Then, I pressed to go back and not make an account through Facebook. Then, I find myself on the screen with my email and password again. The information was already entered. When I finally got through that process, I went to make a book again. I entered the basic information about the book and pressed the button to make the book. Nothing happened. That is when I decided I was done with this piece of trash some morons made to be funny. By the way, I’m not amused.
